After along talk with friends and alot of research i managed to make up my mind on progressive people. Progressive people are people who want to move on and not ever stop. They want to get better and better.

In a country a progressive person would want its country to move on and become better. They want the economy to grow and the country to modernize. Progressive people are good for a developing nation, because if it did not have progressive people then it will not move on or develop. If it does develop it develop really slowly.

Progressive people are good for a nation. They always want to get better and better ans so the country keeps also on getting better and better. A progressive thinker would have wanted more and more information on the topic or issue im writing about and so his or hers essay would have been much better. I think that if anyone wants to sucessed they have to learn how to become a progressive thinker.
U.S expands

Most countries think that imperialism is the beginning to becoming great. The American imperialism started in the late 1800s and into the 20th century.

The U.S did not expand just because they wanted to, they had causes. One of the causes was that the U.S wanted to learn foreign policies. They wanted this because these policies existed for a long time and so they have history. Another reason is because because they needed more natural resources, such as rubber and petroleum.

The U.S went through an age of imperialism, and one example is the purchase of Alaska from Russia. another example is penetrating into under developed nations. Also most importantly they had many bases around the world.

After having many causes for the U.S to have imperialism some good effects were expected. One of the effects is that they were offers for new "frontiers" for the Americans. Also America became much bigger than before.

Although imperialism sounds and looks good to some people and also some supported it like Albert J.Beveridge, it has a negative side. There are three arguments against imperialism moral and political arguments, racial arguments, and economic arguments. Moral and political arguments were the strongest argument for the anti imperialists. Expansionist’s behavior, the anti-imperialists asserted, was a rejection of the nation’s foundation of “liberty for all”. Other anti-imperialists saw racism imperialism and so went against it. “Had the Filipinos been white and fought as bravely as they have, the war would have been ended and their independence granted a long time ago.” ---Bishop Alexander Walters Anti-imperialists raised economic objections to expansionist policies. “We assume that what we like and practice, and what we think better, must come as a welcome blessing to Spanish-Americans and Filipinos. This is grossly and obviously untrue. They hate our ways. They are hostile to our ideas to our ideas. Our religion, language, institutions, and manners offend them.” --- William G. Summer, Yale University professor, in an 1898 speech.

In my opinion imperialism is great for the imperialistic nation but negative for the nations being taken over. If i was a nation and i had what it takes to be imperialistic i would be. So if any nation has the will and power to become imperialistic, i say go for it, because after it ends that nation will become enormously powerful.

Globalization:

Globalization is when regions form a network of trading and communication.

Globalization is good because it unites the regions and makes there economy stronger. It also helps one region learn from another about government, healthcare, and most importantly education. Languages are another good thing about globalization it help regions learn more languages from other regions.

Globalization is bad in a way because it could a region to only join a network to learn the secrets of another region. It could also make a region less private and more public because all the regions unite to form one big region.

Current Events:
The final match Group A in the 2010 World Cup Qualifiers was between Morocco and Cameron. The match took place im Fes, Morocco November 14th. Cameon completed a fine recovery after a stuttering start to their World cup qualifying campaign to reach the finals in South Africa with a 2-0 away win over Morocco on Saturday. Cameron (The indomitable Lion) have now officially qualified. they now have an Africa record of a six World Cup finals appearance. Cameron started the match very powerfully and this was shown when they scored the first goal on the 17th minute against a depleted Morocco. A powerful shot from the spanish based Achille Webo. Samuel Eto'o scored the second goal seven minutes into the second half with a shot from the outside of his foot aftera header into the penalty box from Jean Makoun. This year was a really sad year to morocco, because their legendary team who would normaly make its enemies tremble lost, and will not be going to the CAN our the World Cup in South Africa.

Lesson starter:

When i grow up i would like to go to a Canadian university. When done with university the location where i would like to work and live in would be Casablanca, Morocco. I chose this location because people who are doing my future profession here are successful and say that there are many opportunities. I also chose this location because its my home city and i am used to living in it.

Bill of rights:

Amendment I: The government is not allowed to make any law prohibiting the people from practicing there own religion. Also everyone has the freedom of speech and no one can make a law to prevent that.

Amendment II: A well regulated militia, for the protection of the people and everyone has the right to have a weapon under any conditions.

Amendment III: No soldier can intrude anyones house without the consent of the owner, even in time of war.

Amendment IV: Everyone should be safe and not in danger. Land should not be taken for any reason. A warrant should be given if anyone has to search the property or seize any thing.

Amendment V: Unless there is proof no one should be blamed for a crime.

Amendment VI: If someone is to be persecuted they have the right for a witness. The witness could be in his favor or against. The judge should be from the location the crime was committed.

Amendment VII: In any case the jury that is going to judge should have the right to research and investigate.

Amendment VIII: Punishments for committed crimes should not be unreasonable and painful.

Amendment IX: Rights retained by people should not counteract those of the Bill of Rights.

Amendment X: There jobs and powers taken by the united states government others are respectfully given to the people.

To me the most important amendments in order are I, II, III,V, VIII. I chose number one ans the most important because anyone has the right and must have the right to practice what he or she believes. Next was number two because any civilization run by a government must have the right of protection by the government and the government must give the people the right to protect them selves. I then chose number three because of privacy, every family should have the right to privacy. I then chose number five because no one should be blamed for anything unless it is proven that there guilty, for any one could be blamed even the innocent and proof separates the innocent from the guilty. My last choice was number eight because no one should be punished unreasonably.

The colonists:

Colonists began thinking about revolting until they thought it was time. Before they revolt they all united and became one. One thing that helped them revolt was when the British gave them land and allowed them to expand it. Most of Britain's wealth was coming from the colonists for they were the ones to export to england and import from england goods. First thing they did was the tea party, which was a movement in were the colonists stopped importing tea from england. The picture above is a picture of the tea party. The colonists wealth was a great income to Britain economy and when they started revolting by stopping exports the British economy was badly hurt. When the stamp act took place in New York, 1765, some strong colonies stood up and revolted this was one of the biggest revolts in the revolution act, because it helped the colonists take control of the British government in the new world.

With out the friendship and collaboration the colonists would not have been able to revolt. If they had not united against the British they would have lost the war.

Why study history:

History is an important thing that every persone should learn. Meaning that it does not end, because is made everyday by us. History is very important because it teaches us of our past and what our previous civilization did and the mistakes they committed so we can learn from them. Not all history is necessary mistakes it could be great thing that happened and that we should take as an example. History is the study of the past to make the future better and greater.
